Amazing experience!
I feel Dr. Twelves is a very knowledgeable doctor. My wait wasn't too long. However, I felt like she was in such a hurry to be done with me. I felt like she didn't care what I had to say, she just wanted to get done and move on. I've only seen her for annual exams. I've never seen her for pregnancy appts/ delivery.
I had an awful experience with Dr Twelves and her staff. Dr Twelves does not listen and always just assumed things. I provided her my medication history, and she responded "that surely can't be what your doctor prescribed you. It must be this instead!" I was very frustrated because I had all the prescription at my home and had written down all of them to tell her, but she just rushed me out like that. I also brought up my severe back pain problem that has been going on along with the pregnancy, and she did not even respond politely to that. Her nurse just walked back in after she left the room and told me "It's common, go home and stretch out, exercise, or buy a pregnancy belt or something!" I was so frustrated, I could not even walk due to the pain on my back, let alone exercising! When the nurse walked me into the room on my visit, it was gross! Things have not been changed and thrown out from the previous patient visit. After my visit at her office, I called back for days since my back hurt me even more and I couldn't stand up, nobody answered. Just a voice mail saying that the doctor is not available after 4PM, her nurse and her were not in the office on Friday. Dr Twelves also was out of the office 2 business days a week, not including her Friday out. They said all phone calls would not be responded until the next business, so if you are in pain and call them up for help, chances are you will not get any. The staff called me back next day business after 4 PM, so the doctor already had left. Such "GREAT HELP!" When I called to move my appointment, they clearly did not care. I just wanted to make or reschedule an appointment, and the receptionist kept asking in an obnoxious way "Do you just want to cancel?" when the date they gave me did not work. If you ever need any forms or paperwork done, they've got nothing on their website, or wouldn't even send them to you through email. You either gotta go in their office to get the forms, or have a fax number. What century is this? I also had my kiddo with me on my visit, and the person that was doing the ultrasound told me that I was not allowed to bring kids with me. They never told me I couldn't bring children with before my visit! The ultrasound tech also told me that all my ultrasound images and clip would be sent to me. Nothing ever came! What baloney! For goodness sake, pregnant women already got enough on their plates, the doctor should not be another stress or pain for them! I would never ever recommend this doctor and her staff to anyone! It was a nightmare!
Dr. Twelves herself is an amazing doctor and I have no complaints about thebcare she provides. The wait however can be ridiculous. If you want to be seen quickly (or within an hour of your appointment time) then I'd book with someone else but when she does finally get to you the care she provides is very very good and she is very thorough. Just wish the wait in the office wasn't so terribly long
I absolutely love Dr. Twelves!! She has been so wonderful to work with. Very quick, but also caring. Love her staff as well, I have not had any issues with any of them. My delivery of my child was so smooth.
