Because they said his haircut was not complete, I agreed to the sedation fee of $40. Over an hour passes and I decided to go because surely he should be ready. It took about 5 minutes before someone came to the front desk and I am charged $165 for his visit. They failed to tell me that a visit fee would be included with his shots. The girl hardly felt like explaining the breakdown in costs. I unhappily pay and she goes to get my dog and then realized he was not even ready. Not even sedated yet but when I spoke to someone on the phone they said he would be ready shortly. So I felt waiting over an hour would be fine and maybe they were busy and forgot to call.
First impression: Friendly helpful staff. I only went in for a no-appointment booster. Well see when I have to go in for a full visit.
This time for some odd reason they are requiring more shots which I felt was incorrect but I am not a Vet technician to know and another grooming. They called me a few hours after I dropped him off and asked for permission to sedate him because he was fighting the groomer. I know my dog does not like groomers but the previous time the groomer said he was perfect. Seems odd to me.
My husband and I own 3 pugs. We just moved down the street from the clinic last year and we absolutely love the doctors and staff. They have been so gracious to work with my and my husbands work schedules to do glucose checks on one of our dogs who was recently diagnosed with Diabetes. They show true concern and love for our babies. I have been so grateful and impressed with them and would recommend them to everyone.
I am very dissatisfied with the service at this vet. This was not the first time we brought our dog here before. The previous time he had 2 shots and a grooming appointment. Cost was about $60.
DON'T BOARD YOUR PETS HERE! They were closed during business hours, doors locks. "Having a meeting". Unable to pick up my dog on time before they charge for another day. They charged us anyways and we tried to have them take the extra charges off because they were closed during business hours. THEY REFUSED!!! Not our fault but still have to pay. I hope everyone who reads this and considering boarding your pets here, DON'T! They will suck you like vampires for everything you've got!
The lady at the front desk could not even offer me a time frame of when to expect that he would be done. Nothing at all. That when she calls then that means he is done.
Took care of my pet, but with another pet we tried an alternative caregiver and they were less than half the cost and provided a better solution. When we mentioned the treatment we got at this place, they questioned why the vet gave a 10 day oral medicine when a shot would have done the job without the challenges.
We will never bring our dog back here and will be sure to tell other friends and family. Terrible service and they are just looking to rip you off. Tried to support our local veterinary by this is what we get.
