This place used to provide great care, but now I feel that they only want your money. Don't go here. Find a doctor and a medical center that actually cares about their patients and their health. I was a patient at RFHC for two years and saw Becky Jensen the whole time. I loved RFHC and Dr. Jensen. I felt she really cared for me. However, in recent months, my depression and anxiety had returned and I was struggling to make it to my job, let alone a doctor's appointment. Added to that, my car was out of commission for three weeks this month. I always called to let them know if I couldn't make an appointment. I rescheduled two. One I was 17 minutes late for due to car trouble (turns out my engine needed to be replaced) and they canceled the appointment because I didn't want to wait for Jensen to see me. They made it clear I would have to wait until she had time and that it would be short appointment... and I had a lot of questions and concernts. So I rescheduled. I've left messages with them for Dr. Becky a few times in the last six months and had them returned only once or twice. I then had to cancel an appointment two weeks ago because I didn't have a car that day (it would take me 45 minutes to get there via public transport vs the 15 min via car and I didn't have enough sick leave to take three hours out of my day). At the beginning of April I received a letter from RFHC saying they would charge me a fee if I missed another appointment. Yesterday, with more car troubles looming and after a week of anxiety attacks I arrived within the time frame (15 minutes) and checked in, paid my co-pay and sat down to wait. After another 15 minutes, the receptionist called me over to inform me that I was too late today and due to the past couple changed appointments, I was unreliable (?) and Becky Jensen refused to see me and was dropping me as a patient. I was not welcome back. I am heartbroken and even more anxious and depressed since I now have to find another doctor and it is stressing me out. I used to feel like a valuable patient of Becky Jensen. Apparently, RFHC and Becky Jensen only care about time and money now, not the patients. (I also find it ironic, since my average waiting time to actually SEE Becky Jensen was 30-45 minutes). I'm still checking to make sure I get my co-pay back.
Staff and doctors are pleasant and attentive. Only area I would love to see improved is wait time. I've been a few times when the wait time is an hour or hour and a half to see the doctor (half hour in the lobby and another 30-60 minutes in the exam room) Becky Jensen is really good though.
I trust and appreciate this practice as a whole. They are kind and work hard! Thank you to RFHC for providing amazing family services.
A little out of date, but I liked the doc. The rooms and front desk are pretty old-fashioned and held on to my id's til almost the end of my appt, because my doctor visit was apparently faster than front desk.
